EXPERIENCE:

Martin (Marty) Waters is a partner in the San Diego, California, office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Marty represents numerous public and private growth companies in a general counsel capacity. He also handles a wide variety of complex commercial transactions for clients, including public offerings of equity and debt securities; mergers and acquisitions; venture capital financings; and the formation of partnerships, strategic alliances, and joint ventures.

Marty regularly counsels boards of directors, management, and investors on the governance and regulation of business entities and securities laws. His industry experience encompasses a broad range of issues and industries.

He formerly was associated with the law firms of Cahill Gordon & Reindel and Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld in New York.
